Ray Hill

Ray Hill, a native of Ellenton, SC having made Petersburg, VA. his home for the past 62 years, departed from this life on Friday, August 24, 2012. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 49 years, Katherine Holderfield Hill. Also, he was the brother to the late Helen Williams and Fred C. Hill. Mr. Hill is survived by two nieces, Georgia Williams and husband, Maurice, and Cindy Owen and husband, Kirk; all of Aiken, SC; sister-in-law, Anne Wood Hill of Aiken, SC.; three nieces, Barbara Holderfield of Dinwiddie, VA., Diane Berberick of Sutherland, VA., and Carol Reed of Nashville, TN; and a nephew, Alan Holderfield of Nashville, TN. There will be a private graveside service held at a later date. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
