Raymond Beville

Raymond Leslie Beville, 83, of Sutherland died Wednesday, January 3, 2007. He was the son of the late Frank William and Mertie Florence Williams Beville. Raymond was the youngest of ten children preceded in death by five sisters and four brothers. He was a retired employee of Fort Lee and a WWII veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a lifelong member of Ocran United Methodist Church; charter, life member of the Sutherland Ruritan Club and longtime Womenâ??s Softball Coach. He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Dorothy Hodges Beville; one daughter, Leslie Beville Jones and husband, Sterling; one son, Nelson Keith Beville and wife, Rhonda; four grandchildren, Chad Jones, Brian Edmonds, Macy Beville and Amanda Beville all of Sutherland. Funeral services will be conducted by Reverend Gene Tatum and Reverend Harry Byrd Jones on Saturday, January 6, 2007, 11:00 am at Ocran United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends Friday, January 5, 2007 from 6 to 8 pm at the church. Interment will be in Ocran United Methodist Church Cemetery.
