Raymond B. Cumbea

Raymond B. Cumbea, 66, of Chester, VA passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2018. Born in Richmond, VA he was the son of the late Robert Lee Cumbea; and was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert, Jr.; and a sister, Phyllis Dance. Raymond is survived by his wife of 47 years, Richie L. Cumbea; a daughter, Valerie Cumbea; his mother, Nettie Ann Cumbea; a sister, Debra Butler and husband, Michael; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Dale Memorial Park, Chesterfield, VA. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 2, 2018 at the funeral home. Flowers are welcome, or contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to your local ASPCA in memory of Raymond Cumbea.
