Raymond Goss

Raymond L. Goss, Jr., age 67, of Chester, VA, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2010. He was born in Willimantic, CT, the son of the late Raymond L. Sr., and Irene Delude Goss. Mr. Goss was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was an English professor for 10 years at Virginia State University and taught English for over 15 years at Manchester High School. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Diane M. Goss; daughter, Brigitte Williams and husband, Russell of Floyd County, VA; son, Aron Goss, and wife, Jenny of Shelby, NC; four grandchildren, Caleb Goss, Amity Williams, Silas Goss, and Hazel Williams; brothers, Roger Goss and wife Nancy of Milford, CT.; Ernest Goss, and wife Joyce of Hamden, CT., and Rene Goss and wife Irene, of Willimantic, CT; and his loving companion â??Sonny.â? A celebration of life service is scheduled for Friday, March 5, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chester chapel of J.
