Raymond Hart

Raymond Eugene Hart, 74 years old, died Thursday, December 22, 2011 at VCU in Richmond, VA. Raymond lived in Chester, VA 26 years and also Hague, VA. in the summer months. Mr. Hart was the son of the late Harold Raymond and Ruby Critzer Hart. He was born, and grew up in southside Richmond, VA. Along with his dad, Raymond operated Hartâ??s Service Station and also repaired and painted company business trucks (Pure Oil, Pepsi and many other well known names) at the corner of 12th street and Semmes Ave. for 30 years, retiring in 1982. Raymond also served his country in the Army National Guard for 9 years. Survivors include one brother, Bobby F. Hart of Orlando, FL.; one sister, Sandra Hart Rhodes of Chester, VA.; one nephew, Gerald B. Rhodes, Jr.; two nieces, Sheryl Hart Humerickhouse and husband David, Cindy Hart Veen and husband Todd; one great-niece, Tiffany Humerickhouse; two great-nephews, Cameron Humerickhouse and Tyler Veen, all of Orlando, FL. Mr. Hart will lay in repose until 4:00 pm each day in the Chester chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 2:00 pm in Maury Cemetery, 2700 Maury St., Richmond, VA. Condolences may be sent to www.jtmorriss.com .
