Raymond Rudolph Willis Sr.

Raymond R. Willis, Sr., age 89, of Midlothian, formally of Chester, died December 21, 2018. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jennie Fowler Willis, and children, Raymond Willis, Jr. (Mary), Deborah Floyd, Michael Willis, Donna McNamara (Steve), Harold Mims (Jen), and Susan Shelhart (Tim), fifteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, a sister, Shelby Willis, and special niece, Viki Frankenburger. He served our country in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Following his military service, he worked as a budget analyst for the Defense General Supply Center, retiring in 1984. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 27, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, West Hundred Road, Chester. A service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel with a private entombment at Sunset Memorial Park in the Mausoleum.
