Raymonde Karpe

Raymonde Marie Karpe of Maryland, formerly of Petersburg, Virginia passed away peacefully on Monday, May 17, 2010. She was the daughter of the late Yves de Quenech and Rosalie Le Cozler and the widow of Lt. Col. Henry Z. Karpe. Born on August 15, 1918 in Boujival, France, she is survived by her sister, Yvonne Gauthier; her niece, Anna Marie Perez and three stepdaughters, Hillary Leiborwitz, Barbara Groseclose and Luzita Guttilla. A memorial service was held in Maryland where she resided for her last six years. On May 20th, her remains were laid to rest beside her husbandâ??s at Brith Achim Cemetery. Her spirit resides forever with Jesus.
