Reba Jones

Reba Whitworth Jones, age 84, of Richmond, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 03, 2009. She was the daughter of the late Harvey L. and Nannie Mitchell Whitworth, and the wife of the late Thomas R. Jones. Mrs. Jones was a longtime member of Kingsland Baptist Church and the Senior Saints. She was a volunteer with the American Red Cross, and a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Jones is survived by her two children, Richard Jones and wife, Dorothy of Chester and Marla J. Cole and husband, Pete of Chesterfield; four grandchildren; a sister, Kathleen Byrd of Moneta, VA; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son funeral home on Monday, October 5, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with interment following in Sunset Memorial Park.
