Reba Wolfe Joyner-Ballos passed away June 23, 2011, after a battle with cancer, at her home in Chester. She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Iva Wolfe; husband, Ralph Joyner; daughter, Brenda Joyce; and 5 siblings. Mrs. Joyner-Ballos was originally from Wise County, VA. She retired from Mooreâ??s Building Supply, and was an avid bowler with the Tuesday Morning Coffee League. She is survived by her sisters, Nadine Owens of Sarasota, FL, and Bernice Nelson of Federal Way, WA; daughter, Glenda J. Farmer and husband, Donald of Chester, VA; granddaughters, Suzanne K. Miller husband, Kevin of Verona, VA, and Heather K. Bottoms and husband, Tony of Chickasha, OK; great grandchildren, Joyner and Tanner Miller, and Thad, Bruce, and Stephanie Bottoms; 2 sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews; and her dear friend, Kathy Carter. She was a beloved mother, mawmaw, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend and will be sorely missed. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 4 p.m. in the Chesterfield chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A private burial will follow at a later date.
