Rebecca Brown Lewis

Rebecca Brown Lewis, 75, of Carson, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents Lawrence P. and Edna Parham Brown. Becky was a member of Oakland Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was an avid gardener and loved to read. She is survived by her husband, Perry A. Lewis; two daughters, Rebecca L. Wells (Vernon) and Faye L. Lewis (Marshall); five grandchildren, Christina L. Spiker, Alex Wells, Beth L. Noseck, Marshall Page Lewis and Will Lewis; six great-grandchildren, Becca, Emily, Layton, Kaitlyn, Marina and Damien; one great-great-grandchild, Ryleigh; one brother, Doug Brown; two sisters, Charlotte Wall and Patricia Elder; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M., Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Oakland Baptist Church, 12601 Prince George Dr., Disputanta, VA 23842. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church 1 hour prior to the service from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oakland Baptist Church Building Fund, 12601 Prince George Dr., Disputanta, VA 23842. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T.
