Rena Tyus

Rena Marie Hopkins Sebera Tyus, 68, of Prince George, Virginia, died Sunday September 18, 2005 in John Randolph Medical Center. She was a retired Inspector with Allied Chemical Corporation and a member of Sycamore United Methodist Church. Mrs. Tyus was preceded in death by her parents, Fred H. and Evelyn I. Dabney Hopkins and a brother, Fred H. Hopkins, Jr. Surviving are daughters, Robin Sebera Piner and fiancé Lonnie Hyden, Holly Sebera Stables and husband, Danny, all of Prince George, son Emerson W. Sebera, Jr. and wife, Linda, of Surry. Two sisters, Sandra M. Pelter of Prince George and R. Dale Fermino of Cape Cod, MA, one brother, Harry R. Hopkins and wife, Linda, of Surry, grandchildren Jeffrey, Michael, Nikki, Joseph, and Nicholas and great-grandchildren Bree, Haley, Daniel and Joshua.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 21, 2005, at Sycamore United Methodist Church from 6:30 ? 8:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2005 at the church at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Gina Anderson-Cloud officiating. Interment will be in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens in Prince George.
