Maj. Usaf (Ret.) H. Dean Combee

Maj. USAF (Ret.) H. Dean Combee, 80, of Chester, passed away on February 28, 2013 at his home. Mr. Combee was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-four years, Anne O. Combee; and his parents, Henry Harbin and Bertha Mae Chapman Combee. He is survived by his children, H. Dean Combee Jr., Elaine C. Coppedge and her husband, Eddie, and Laura C. Verser; grandchildren, Erin, Jennifer, George, Joey, and Kinsey; and his extended family and friends. Mr. Combee served twenty years in the USAF. He was co-owner of Century 21 Alpha Realty; and volunteered many years of service with the Board of Elections for Chesterfield County. Mr. Combee’s greatest loves were golf, skiing, reading, gardening, and bridge. A Celebration of Dean’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home; with a visitation to follow until 3:30 p.m. Interment will be private.
