Reuben Johnson

Reuben “Buck” Asbury Johnson, 87 entered into eternal rest Thursday, March 11, 2004. He was a native of Petersburg, Va., born the son of the late Walter and Rena Pope Johnson. He was a long time resident of Prince George, Va., and was retired from Hercules Powder Co. in Hopewell, Va. He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Cabiness Johnson, a son Chris N. Johnson, and a grandson Preston Dean Johnson. He is survived by his son, Donald (Donnie) W. Johnson and wife Fran of Chesapeake, Va; a sister, Kathleen Hawks and husband Guy of Colonial Heights, Va; six grandchildren Donald W. Johnson Jr. and wife Paula, of Prince George, Va; David Johnson and wife Donnell, of Buffalo City, Wis; Thomas Johnson and wife Michele, of Osalo Wis; Crystal Farrow and husband Charles, of Duluth Minn; William Johnson, of Alma Wis; and Sherry Branon, of Chesapeake, Va; ten great-grandchildren Tabatha and Whitney Johnson, Alan Branon, Christopher, Adam, Ashton, Makenna Johnson, Samantha and Amanda Johnson, and Sophia Farrow and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends. Graveside services will be conducted Monday, March 15th at 2 PM at Blandford Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday March 14, 2004 from 3 to 5 PM at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T.
