Rhonda Klaas

Rhonda Christine Klaas age 47, of Chester, VA died on Tuesday, June 6, 2006. She was born in Salisbury, NC the daughter of John M. and Christine Cottingham Cloer also of Chester. She attended Wittenburg University in Springfield, Ohio where she was a member of Gamma Phi Beta. Later becoming a Call Manager with the J. C. Penney Corp. and was employed with them for twenty- five years. She was also a P T A lifetime member and member of First Baptist Church of Hopewell. She is survived by a daughter, Jessica Palmer of Fredericksburg, VA; a sister, Lisa Schneider and husband Rick of Collierville, TN; and a niece, Casey Schneider also of Collierville, TN. The family will receive friends at the J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Chesterfield on Thursday, June 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial service will follow on Friday, June 9, 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Hopewell, VA.
