Richard A. Riveland

Richard â??Rickâ? Allen Riveland, age 44, of Chester, VA, passed away on Friday, May 14, 2010. He was born in Portsmouth, VA. Mr. Riveland was employed at Dominion Virginia Power as a systems analyst. He is survived by his loving wife; Cindy L. Riveland; his son, Adam R. Riveland; mother and step-father, Anne New and Aubrey â??Rickâ? New, Jr. of Norfolk, VA; father, Ralph Riveland of Branchville, NJ; a sister, Barbara Turner of Newport News, VA; nephews, Timothy, Michael, and Matthew Turner; a niece, Lauren Turner; and other family and friends. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 17, from 6 to 8 pm at the Chester chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service will follow on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at 1 p.m. in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk, VA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Adam R.
