Richard Elwood Belcher

Richard Elwood Belcher, 76, of Hopewell, went to be with the Lord on February 12th, 2021 at his home. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Jack, James, Henry, & Carl and three sisters, Lena, Margaret, & Theresa. Richard is survived by his wife, Carol, of 36 years; two daughters Amy Jarvis (Chad) and Kristen Grubb (Kyle); and two sons, Jimmy and Jared Belcher (Crystal); and 10 grandchildren (Grayson, Gillian, Gavin, and Garrett Jarvis; Kylie and Kinsley Grubb; Brynlee and Alana Belcher; and Hayden and Carson Belcher). Richard devoted 55 years to his business, Buchanan's Watch Repair, and also retired from Kaiser Aluminum after 38 years of service. Richard was an active member of West Hopewell Presbyterian Church where he served as a deacon. Richard was a loving husband, father, and PeePaw who will be missed deeply. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 19th, 2021 from 1pm to 2pm at West Hopewell Presbyterian Church with a service following.
