Richard Clarke

Richard Daniel Clarke, 65, of Disputanta, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 17, 2012 at Southside Regional Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his father Albert Clarke and son Joe E. Clarke. He was an employee with Blueprint Automation, Inc. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Christine L.K. Clarke of Disputanta; four children, Richard D. Clarke, II of Amelia, Angie M. Lay & husband, Steven of Virginia Beach, Jason A. Clarke of California and Jennifer M. Scibelli of Disputanta; 15 grandchildren; his mother, Mildred Farrell Clarke; two sisters, Patsy Clarke and Minetta Comella both of Maryland; a special niece, Erin Clarke, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral service will be conducted 11:30 am Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Tuesday night at the funeral home. Interment will be in Southlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 3110 Greenwood Avenue, Colonial Heights, VA 23834.
