Richard Matthew Corn

Richard Matthew Corn, 35, of Chester, VA passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2020. Born in Arlington, VA he was the son of the late Kevin Roy Corn; and was also preceded in death by an uncle, Christopher Brett Corn; and his grandmother, Janice Corn. Richard enjoyed fishing and spending time in nature. He was an avid NASCAR fan and passed that passion on to his two sons. He is survived by his mother and father, Carol and Philip Wheeler; two sons, Robert and Isaiah Corn; six siblings, Kimberly Farkas (Kyle), Clayton Corn, Kevin Corn, Teresa Patterson, Philip Wheeler, Jr. (Elsa) and Richard Wheeler (Brandy); his maternal grandparents, Linda Jones and Thomas Roberts, Sr.; paternal grandfather, Richard M. Corn; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A procession will leave the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. and a graveside funeral service will begin at 10:15 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, VA.
