Richard Alan Harsh

Richard A. Harsh, 77, of Prince George, VA passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 22, 2021. Richard was an army veteran, serving two tours in Vietnam. He was a member of Gregory Memorial Presbyterian Church, Hopewell Moose 1472, Hopewell Optimist Club, and VFW & Legion. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Valerie Harsh; Brother, Lee Harsh (Sandy); Sister, Lillian Harsh; Children, Mary Miller (Joe), Alan Harsh (Julie), Cheryl Walker (Nelson) & Pamela Bird (Dillon); Stepchildren, Lorenzo Carmona (Danita) & Andrea (Sean) Trimble; Grandchildren, Amy Miller, Joseph Miller (Paige), Ricky Miller (Kari), Kennedi & Tamia Walker, Gracie & Mason Harsh, Tony Blackman (Dawn), Alexis Beverly, Alex & Isabel Carmona, along with six Great-Grandchildren and many great friends he considered extended family. There will be a visitation at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Monday, July 26, 2021 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com
