Richard Blane Kilbourne

Richard Blane Kilbourne, 63, of Hopewell, VA passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. James E. Kilbourne, Sr. and Jeanne Boley Kilbourne. He is survived by his daughter Jennifer Williams and husband Jimmy; his sons, Richard “Jared” Kilbourne and Joseph M. Kilbourne; grandchildren, Jake and Abbey Williams; and his brothers, Dr. James E. Kilbourne, Jr. and wife Betty, and Mark S. Kilbourne; numerous extended family and friends. He was an avid Virginia Tech football fan. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 3050 W. Hundred Rd., Chester, VA 23831. A memorial service will follow at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
