Richard Francis Leblanc

Richard Francis LeBlanc, 86, of McKenney, passed away on March 28, 2014. Born in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of the late Adelard and Rita LeBlanc; and was also preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Jeanette LeBlanc. Mr. LeBlanc attended Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church in McKenney, VA. He his survived by one daughter, Dianne Nowlin and husband, Skip; a son, Glen Leblanc and wife, Kelly; two grandsons, Nick Nowlin and wife, Lauren, and Isaiah LeBlanc; a granddaughter, Mercy LeBlanc; two great-granddaughters, Palmer and Landen Nowlin; one sister, Phyllis; a brother, Ralph; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 31, 2014 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Phyllis Piluso, officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, Va. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Richmond, 4600 Cox Rd., Suite 130, Glen Allen, VA 23060 in Mr. LeBlanc’s memory.
