Richard J. Medell

Richard (Dick) J. Medell, aged 77, died at his residence on December 28, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Frances, two children, Dr. Robert J. Medell (wife Diana) of San Antonio, Texas and Mary Gladfelter, (husband Charles), and 4 grandchildren, Ryan, Matthew, Katie and David. Dick was a retired Information Center Manager for the Virginia Community College System, VCCS. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mr. Medell's memory to the Friends of the Library-CCPL, Chester Library, 11800 Centre Street, Chester, VA 23831. Arrangements are private.
