Richard Moon

Richard Emerson Moon, 69, of Hopewell passed away on July 3, 2010 at the VA Medical Center after a short battle with cancer. He was the son of the late Robert E. Moon and Mamie Tew Vaughan, and was also preceded in death by a sister, Frances Barricks. Rick is survived by his three children, Kathryn Quesenberry, Ricky and Jason Moon; three grandsons; 5 grand-daughters; a brother, Jim Moon; two sisters, Winnie Zeh, Peggy Grant; and an aunt, Lena Thomasson. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service, with the Rev. George Schutte, officiating.
