Richard William Ozmore

Richard W. Ozmore, 71, born on February 22, 1945, of Petersburg, VA, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 7, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ruby Mae and Emmett Ozmore; brother, Wallace Sr.; wife, Barbara Ozmore; nephew, Wallace Jr. (Skipper). He is survived by his brother, James Ozmore and his companion, Judy Jenkins. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 12 from 6:00 pm to 8pm at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 13, at 1 pm at the funeral home. Family and friends will proceed to Southlawn Cemetery where the body will lay to rest.
