Richard Sr. Dosier

Richard Alan Dosier, Sr., 56, surrounded by his family went to be with the Lord Friday, May 23, 2008 in Norfolk, Virginia. Born December 7, 1951 in Monroe, MI to the late Duke and Marianne Dosier. Richard was a proud Army Veteran. He was a very kind man who loved family, music, dogs, sports, and politics. He frequented the BMG jazz club, but above all he will be remembered as a wonderful father and loving brother and uncle. He is survived by his son Richard Alan Dosier, Jr. of Norfolk; brother, James Robert Dosier of Norfolk; Sisters, Zanny Dillson of Atlanta, GA, Kathy Canada of Midlothian and Tara Carter of Chesterfield; a very special friend and ex-wife Patricia Watson of Norfolk as well as 15 loving nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 P.M. on Monday, May 26, 2008 at the Chester chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home and Cremation service or contact the family at (757)613-4332. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at the funeral home with Pastor Robert Lee and Assistant Pastor Cameron Justice officiating.
