Jr. Richard Mitten Whitchurch

Richard M. Whitchurch, Jr., 83, passed away on February 15, 2024. He was born to the late Richard and Katherine Whitchurch in Petersburg, Virginia. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Whitchurch, his sisters, Charlotte Bishop and Margaret Whitchurch. He served his country dutifully in the Air Force and worked diligently as a Master Electrician. He is survived by his sister, Patsy Folsom (Ray), his children, Richard Whitchurch III (Linda), Ryan Whitchurch (Sandra), Sharon Cimburke, and Martin L. Becker; his grandchildren, Corey Wayne, Joshua, Nathaniel, Alyssa, and Corey Richard; and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home on Monday, February 19, 2024 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Blandford Cemetery.
