Richard Macdaniel Williams

Richard MacDaniel Williams, 53, died on November 18, 2019. He resided in Chesterfield, VA. Richard was born in Petersburg, VA to MacDaniel and Jacqueline (Wyatt) Williams. He earned his nursing degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, and spent the majority of his 25 plus year nursing career serving various departments in the VCU Health System, most recently Baird Vascular Institute. He received a number of recognitions for his work, including the Nurse of the Year Award in Vail, CO. Richard is survived by three siblings, Tammy Williams of Florence, SC, Christopher Williams (Marie) of Garner, NC, and Robin Trueheart (Buck) of Chester, VA; nephew Taylor Trueheart and niece Jacqueline Williams; and several cousins. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 9th, 2019 at J.T. Morris & Son Funeral Home, 3050 W Hundred Rd, Chester, VA. The family extends special thanks to the staffs of VCU Health and Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center.
