Rita Haggerty

Rita Marion Haggerty, 90, of Hopewell died on Monday, February 23, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bruno and Marian Barry Ledoux; husband, Andrew Haggerty and her son, John Fleming. Mrs. Haggerty was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church where she fulfilled her most cherished accomplishment of teaching the four year olds in Sunday School for 30 years. She is survived by her daughter, Paula H. Leggett; son, Larry A. Haggerty; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and a sister, Cecile Cushing. The family will receive friends at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 from 7 to 8:30 pm. A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at Woodlawn Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Bermuda Memorial Park.
