Robert Linwood “Bobby” Allen, Jr., 65, of Petersburg, VA, died Thursday, August 24, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Juanita Stell Allen and a brother, Timmy Allen. Bobby attended Second Baptist Church early in life. He is survived by his sons, Bobby Allen and wife, Kelly, and Brian Vail and wife, Crystal; grandchildren, Kylie Allen, Taylor Allen, as well as Brian’s children; sister, Kitty Allen Dance and husband, Herbert; brother, Jimmy Allen; uncle, Elton Stell and wife, Roselyn; aunts, Iris Stell, Marie Jones, and Lou Allen, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, and his Waffle House friends and their families. A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Blandford Cemetery.
