Robert Stanley Antkowiak

Robert Stanley Antkowiak, 83, of Sutherland, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2016. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Frank and Victoria Antkowiak. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Arlene McDonnell Antkowiak. Robert served in the United States Army retiring as Lieutenant Colonel after 23 years of service. After his military career he was employed with Philip Morriss as Chief Purchasing Agent retiring with them after 20 years. He is survived by his children, Peggy Cruz (Rob), Dennis Antkowiak (Rhonda), Cathy Hanks (Adam), and Patrick Antkowiak (Becky); very special friend, Carolyn Dundalow; grandchildren, Jessica, Olivia, Tyler, Matthew, Abby, Lindsay, Duncan, Katie, and Robert; and beloved cat, Prissy. A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 30, 2016 at Western Heights Baptist Church, 24416 Cox Rd. Petersburg, VA 23803.
