Robert David Brooks, 78, of Chester, VA, went to be with the Lord on May 31, 2022.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Brooks. Devoted Dad to Kelly O'Neal (Rob), Kimberly James (Bryan), Matthew Cameron (Lorraine), Meredith Williams and Andy Brooks.
The Best Poppy to Zoe, Robbie, Sage, Taylor, Breanna, Bryce, Felicity, Atlas, Jacob and Abigail.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Henry Brooks, Jr. and Helen Brooks.
Bob was a Vietnam War Veteran as a 1st Class Airman in the Air Force. He was a proud Averett Alumni, CPM and worked for R.E.C.O., ABB, Pari, Honeywell and Reynolds throughout his career.
The family will receive friends and family on Sunday, June 5, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with a service to follow at 2:00 pm at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home of Chester, 3050 W. Hundred Rd. Chester, VA 23831. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
