Robert Chinault

Robert James Chinault, 84, of Sutherland, died Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at Colonial Heights Health Care Center after fighting numerous illnesses. He was born in Caroline County on December 27, 1924. Mr. Chinault was retired from the State Highway Department. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert S. and Julia M. Gray Chinault, both of Caroline County, and his beloved wife of 57 years, Ellen â??Violaâ? Chinault; two brothers and four sisters. James was the oldest of eleven children. He is survived by two brothers and two sisters, Edith Wright and her husband, James Calvin, Al Davis and his wife, Shirley, Betty Bustamante and her husband, Paz, and Carl Allen and his wife, Dianna. Friends and loved ones are welcome anytime from 10 AM to 7 PM for open visitation on Friday, July 31st at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A graveside service will be conducted by Reverend Robert Rowland, III at 10 AM Saturday, August 1, 2009 at Southlawn Memorial Park.
