Robert Cleveland

Robert Harold Cleveland, 91, of Prince George County died Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at his residence. He was born in Kittery, Maine and had been a resident of this area since 1955. Mr. Cleveland served in the U.S. Army from March 1941 until his retirement in March 1961.. Having attained the rank of M/Sgt. he served during WWII, the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Waldo C. & Grace Farish Cleveland and two sisters, Grace Cleveland Semple and Esther Cleveland. Mr. Cleveland is survived by his wife, Dorothy Ruth Cleveland, of Prince George, two sons Robert H. Cleveland, III of Prince George, Richard J. Cleveland of Mishawaka, Indiana, 2 grandchildren, Forrest B. Cleveland, of Prince George and Amy M. Cleveland of Chester, 2 great grandchildren, Hayden J. Cleveland and Madison J. Cleveland both of Prince George and a sister Marjorie Cleveland Collins of Peabody, MA. A graveside service, with full military honors, will be held Monday, April 10, 2006 at 2:00 PM in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens, Prince George.
