Robert Purdie Davis, Sr.

Robert P. Davis, Sr., 75, of Sutherland, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022. Born December 22, 1946, he was the son of the late Hal Holmes and Kathleen Davis; and was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Ann Davis; and brothers, Hal and Archie Davis.

He is survived by his daughter, Kim Norwood (Perry); son, Robert Davis, Jr. (Beverly); grandchildren, Matthew Norwood and Taylor Mayton (Cameron); great-granddaughter, Karter Mayton; sisters, Doris Marks (Sam) and Helen Moran (Vince); brothers, Leroy Davis (Joanne), Jimmie Davis (Jeanne), Roscoe Davis (Rhonda), and Richard Davis (Kim); sister-in-law, Lisa Bess; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at J.T. Morriss & Son - Petersburg Chapel from 6 PM - 8 PM.
