Robert Flake Y Sr.

Robert Flake Dry, 87, of Ford, VA, died on Wednesday December 31, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Flake and A. Pauline Efird Dry and his wife Dollie Dry; a sister, Rebecca D. Medlin and husband, Bill; a brother, Samuel W. Dry and wife, Nellie; brother-in-law, Gene M. Eagle; and sister-in-law, Eldred MacMillan. Mr. Dry was a devoted member of Nazareth Lutheran Church in Hopewell and was always there to lend a helping hand to many people. He worked most of his life as a master electrician in the construction field and was a member of the Electrical Union (IBEW 666). He is survived by his daughter, Annette M. Dry; son, Robert F. Dry Jr. and wife, Sue Ann; close friend, Ruth Smith; two sisters, Ann Eagle and Lucille Larrabee and husband, Bruce; sister-in-law, Christine Meidling and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 5, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Southlawn Memorial Park in Prince George.
