Robert Leroy Eley, 72, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Dorothy; and sister, Catherine Eley. He is survived by his brothers David Eley (Vera); and Michael Eley; nephews Vance Eubank, Robert Kennedy, Jeremy Kennedy, and Christopher Laine. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg chapel of the J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 103 S. Adams St. on Sunday January 21, from 4 to 6pm. A graveside service will be held at 11am on Monday, January 22, at Blandford Cemetery. Online Condolences may be registered at
