Robert English

Robert David English, 88, of Prince George, died, Thursday, August 26, 2004 in Hopewell Healthcare Center. He was a native of Marlboro, South Carolina and had been a resident of this are since 1965. He was a retired Sgt. with the US Army serving during WWII, After retirement from the military he retired as a supervisor with the Richmond/Petersburg Turnpike Authority. Mr. English was predeceased by his wife, Anna Mae English, and his daughter, Brenda Gay English. Surviving are two sons, David S. English of Mechanicsville, and Robert W. English of Chester, four grandchildren, Benjamin English and wife Joanne of Hopewell, Amanda English of Glen Allen, Elly English and Ethan English both of Chester, a great grandchild, Jacob English of Hopewell, a sister, Irene Rogers and brother, Rogers English both of Dillion, S. C. a sister-in-law Eloise Crowley of Bennettsville, S. C. Services will be held Saturday, October 30, 2004 at 1:00P.M. in the Mausoleum at Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George County, Va. with Rev. Troy Kaichen officiating. The family is being served by the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home .
