Robert Edward Gay

Robert Edward “Robbie” Gay, 41, of Hopewell, VA passed away on December 16, 2016. He was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He had a passion for fishing and boating. He loved being near the water. He is survived by his three sons, Cullen Gay, Corey Gay, and Ashton Gay; parents, James and Connie Gay; sister, Cathy Ellis (Leonard) and their sons, Austin and Brayden; half-sister, Donna Gay Alfaro (Jose) and her daughter, Alexis; several aunts, uncles, and other extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday December 22, 2016 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Friday December 23, 2016 at the funeral home with interment to follow in Appomattox Cemetery.
