Robert Grubbs

Robert L. Grubbs, Sr., 38, of Disputanta, Va., died Friday, July 16, 2004. He was a member of IVEC Elevator Local #51 for twenty years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanie Marie Grubbs. He is survived by his wife, Christine J. Grubbs; son, Robert L. Grubbs, Jr.; daughter, Mackenzi Lee Grubbs; and step-son, Andrew M. Humphrey; Ray E. Grubbs, father, and Sherry Grubbs, step-mother of Chester; three brothers; Marvin Grubbs of Chester, Va., Steve Grubbs (Janet) of Glen Allen, Va., and Lenny Grubbs (Penny) of Chester, Va.; aunt, Mildred Grubbs of Chester and aunt and uncle, June and Olney Kleis of Powhatan, Va. and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, July 19, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. in the J.T. Morriss & Son Chesterfield Chapel. Interment to follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday, July 18, 2004 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
