Robert Carl Henderson Jr.

Robert Carl Henderson, Jr., 97, of Prince George, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Carl Sr., and Nellie Lou Craddock Henderson; wife, Adele Wells Henderson; and four sisters, Willie Inez Richardson, Helen Sandridge, Faye Collins, and Betty Lou Luffman. Robert served 20 years in the U.S. Army and 20 years in Civil Service. During his time in the Army he proudly served in WWII and the Korean War. He is survived by his daughter, Denise L. Henderson of GA; and two brothers, Aubrey Henderson of Danville, and Curtis Henderson of TN. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M., on Friday, November 11, 2016 at Highland Burial Park, 3049 N. Main Street, Danville, VA 24540. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Prince George Emergency Crew, 6602 Courts Drive, 2nd floor, P.O.
