Robert Hobbs

Robert Allen Hobbs â??Bobbyâ?, 63, of Hopewell, died Tuesday, October 19, 2010 in John Randolph Medical Center. Mr. Hobbs was a life-long resident of Hopewell and employed as a Instructor/programmer with Civil Service at Ft. Lee. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton A. and Jane Hagwood Hobbs. Surviving are his wife, Linda Brockwell Hobbs, of Hopewell, a sister, Rev. Betty A. Hobbs of Petersburg, sister-in-law, Judith B. Lafleur and husband Paul of Hopewell, special friends, Walter and Billie Nelms of Hopewell, several aunts and an uncle. The family will receive friends Friday, October 22, 2010 from 6-8 pm in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 11:00 am in Appomattox Cemetery with Rev. Troy Kaichen, officiating.
