Robert Ford Hubbard, 60, of Stony Creek, passed away Saturday, June 19, 2004 at the McGuire VA Medical Center in Richmond. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and a self-employed painter. He is survived by his mother, Minnie Hawkins; a sister, Darlene Quesenberry (Steve); a brother, Thurman Hubbard (Anne); two nieces, Kristal Sadler of Hopewell and Samantha Hendrick of Dinwiddie; two great-nephews, Michael and Brandon Long both of Hopewell; three aunts, Louise Brooks, Gladys Dawson (Ray) both of Dinwiddie and Shirley Mayes (Bobby) of Georgia; two uncles, John Ford (Carolyn) of Dinwiddie and Gerald Grammer (Julie) of Georgia, and many loved cousins and other close family members. Mr. Hubbard also is survived by three very dear friends, Linda Loyd, Larry Shook and Robert “Bubba” Holly. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2004 at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Homes. Interment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park in Prince George. The family will receive friends from 7 – 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 22, at the funeral home.
