Robert Earl Jeffreys Jr

Robert Earl Jeffreys, Jr., 83, of Hopewell, VA passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021. Born in Uniontown, PA he was the son of the late Robert Earl Jeffreys, Sr. and Mary Jane Cooley Jeffreys; and was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Sandra Kay Smith Jeffreys; and a brother, Dr. Richard Jeffreys. Mr. Jeffreys faithfully served his country in the United States Air Force and had retired from Reynolds Metals after many years of dedicated service. He had also attended City Point Restoration Church of God in Hopewell. Mr. Jeffreys is survived by his children, Robert E. Jeffreys, III and wife, Crystal, Jonathan D. Jeffreys and Robin R. Hair and husband, David; two grandchildren, Sarah E. Jeffreys and Robert E. “Bobby” Jeffreys, IV; two brothers, Edward Jeffreys and wife, Barbara and Daniel Jeffreys and wife, Sheila; as well as many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 15, 2021 at Appomattox Cemetery in Hopewell, VA. The family is being served by the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
