Robert "Bobby" Osborne Johnson

Robert “Bobby” Osborne Johnson, 69, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2014. Born in Petersburg, VA, he was the son of the late Wilton Lee Johnson, Sr. and Lillian Bishop Johnson. He was also preceded in death by his son, Robert Dwayne Johnson. Mr. Johnson was employed with UPS and retired after 25 years. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 882 in Petersburg. He was an avid golfer and in his spare time he enjoyed golfing at the Fort Lee Golf Course. Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife of 50 years, Valarie Walker Johnson; daughters Stephanie Foulkrod and her husband, Jeff, and Mindy Hite and her husband, Richard; grandchildren, Austin Groves, Alli Foulkrod, Ava Foulkrod, Robert Hite, Parker Hite, and Audrey Hite; sister, Charlotte Elder; sisters-in-law, Wanda Rodrigues and Tammy Paluch; and numerous nieces, nephews, and devoted friends. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Friday, November 14, 2014 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 1 pm on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park.
