Robert Donald Magee

Robert Donald Magee, 80, of Chester, VA went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 12, 2018. Born in Richmond, VA he was the son of the late Robert Henry and Elva Thacker Magee; and was also preceded in death by a step-daughter; three step-sons; a brother; and one sister. Mr. Magee retired from the United States Air Force as a MSGT after 32 years of service. He was a founding member of Cornerstone Assembly of God Church in Chesterfield, VA. Above all, he was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Donna W. Magee; one daughter, Susan L. Magee; two grandsons, Samuel and Christopher; two brothers, James Magee and wife, Alice and David Magee and wife, Jackie; and numerous step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Cornerstone Assembly of God Church. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Interment will be private. The family is being served by the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cornerstone Assembly of God Church, 10551 Chalkley Rd., N. Chesterfield, VA 23237 in memory of Mr. Magee.
