Robert K. McCord, 86, passed away Friday, May 5, 2006, at St. Maryâ??s Hospital in Richmond. Born August 5, 1919, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of the late Clifford Goshen McCord and Alice Kyle McCord. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a retired City Manager of Emporia. Mr. McCord is survived by his wife, Anna Elizabeth Horn McCord, and one nephew, Marvin McCord.
Burial will take place in Hummelstown, Pennsylvania, at a later date. Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, is entrusted with the arrangements.
