Robert Lee Nicely

Robert Lee Nicely, age 83, of Chester, VA, passed away Friday, May 13, 2022. Mr. Nicely was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Mary Ann Nicely; his loving wife, Ruby Jane Nicely; and his daughter, Debbie Molaison. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed tending to his garden. Mr. Nicely had retired from Allied Chemical as a Machine Operator after many years of dedicated service. He is survived by one daughter, Karen N. Mason (Bryan); four grandchildren, Thomas "Lee" Mason (Andrea), Amanda Mason, Ciara Hare (Zac) and Kendall Mason; his niece, Missy Anderson (Mark) and his bonus grandchildren, Dylan and Zach; one sister, Elizabeth Spinks; and his best friend, Larry Farmer (Sue). A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens, Prince George, VA. The family is being served by the Hopewell Chapel of J.T.
