Robert Price

Robert Wilton Price, 92, of Sandy Ridge Road, Prince George, died Sunday, January 11, 2004 at his residence. Mr. Price was born in Surry County and had been a resident of Hopewell since 1924. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, and a retired farmer, having been employed with Brandon Plantation for over 50 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Tobias and Dorothy Pond Price. Mr. Price is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Foster Price, two sons, Robert Courtney Price and his wife Lillie, John Frederick Price and his wife Marian, all of Prince George, 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and one sister, Virginia Price Goodrich of Disputanta. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 13, 2004 from 7:00 to 8:30PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 14, 2004 at 11:00AM in Salem United Methodist Church with the Rev. Doug Forrester, pastor officiating. Interment will be in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens.
