Robert Lee Reekes

Robert Lee Reekes, 54, of Disputanta passed away on Friday, October 30, 2020. Born August 22, 1966, he was the son of the late Willie Luther and Freda Mae Reekes. He was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church for 15 years and worked as a scheduler for DuPont Teijin Films for 23 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Lori Snyder Reekes; two children, Robby Reekes and wife, Ashly, Casey Reekes and fiancé, Ben Thompson; two grandchildren, Cassadee and Wyatt Reekes; brother, Tommy Reekes and wife, Terrie; three sisters, Jennie Simmons and husband, Parker, Ruby Vaughan, Darla Reekes and husband, Randy; numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family members and many friends. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Woodlawn Baptist Church, 3512 Virginia Street, Hopewell, VA 23860. Visitation will be from 10:00 am - 11:00 a.m. at Woodlawn Baptist Church. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
