Robert " Bob" Paul Relyea

Robert Paul Relyea “Bob”, age 78 of Blacksburg , VA passed away on April 15, 2017 following a period of declining health. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Eleanor Relyea. Bob is survived by his wife, Anita Lunsford Relyea; son, Robert Evan Relyea and wife, Pam of Delaware; two grandchildren, Bobby and Heather. He is also survived by a sister, Paula Holsinger of Florida and a brother, Peter Relyea of Arizona.; three step-children, Robert Oslin and wife, Linda, David Oslin all of Tazewell, VA and Susan Oslin of Los Angeles, California. Bob graduated from Lehigh University with a Bachelor of Science degree and from New Jersey Institute of Technology with a Master of Science degree. Bob was a Civil Engineer. Bob enjoyed solving all kinds of puzzles, researching on the computer, projects around the house, feeding the birds and giving treats to the neighborhood animals. Flowers are welcome or donations in his memory to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the Chester Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son, 3050 W. Hundred Road, Chester, Va. 23831.
